Trifield EMR Meter model more sensitive Version TF2  NOW IN STOCK
PLEASE SELECT EXPRESS FREIGHT ONLY which WE CHANGE TO $13 WHEN RAISING THE INVOICE ON RECEIPT OF YOUR ORDER DETAILS.

This meter has three easy-to-read scales, to show field levels that may be harmful. It measures electric and radio frequencies radiation (microwaves) as well as magnetic fields in the X, Y and Z axis simultaneously, without tipping and turning the meter.  Test microwave oven door gaskets, appliances, cellular phones, computers, TVs and other electronic equipment.

Measures electrical and magnetic fields from 50 Hz to 100 KHz, and radio frequencies from 30 MHz to 6 GHz.

All in all, you get a tremendous amount of information considering the TriField Meter’s low price, compared to other quality meters.

The TF2 measures up to 6 GHz and so that includes the TOWER-TO-HANDSET radiation 5G works on (3.5 – 3.6GHz) and could eventually go far beyond that.
It is only the Tower-to-Tower communication that neither this or any other affordable meter can assess.
Its suitable for 5G where others don’t even go 2.4 or 3 Ghz and miss that 5G range completely.
Basically a mid price range unit that does the most for the purchase price.

Includes l year limited warranty, 9V battery, and instructions.

Electromagnetic Fields: What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You

Trifield  ® Meter measures all three types of electromagnetic field: AC magnetic field, AC electric field, and radio (including microwaves). The magnetic and electric detectors are 3-axis, making the meter easier to use than comparable 1-axis meter.(e

*The Radio/Microwave section of this meter reads most modern radio sources (50 MHz – 3 GHz). For lower radio frequencies and/or stronger radio sources (such as measuring the field near a transmitter),.

Product Description of Trifield Emr Meter:

The Trifield ® Meter is a gaussmeter, electric field meter, radio field strength meter in a single until. When measuring electromagnetic fields (EMF’s), the primary concern is usually magnetic fields, which can be tricky to measure. If a less sophisticated 1-axis gaussmeter is used, a reading of zero could result even where the field is strong. A 1-axis meter must be oriented correctly to measure the field (which is a vector). The 3-axis Trifield Meter solves that problem by measuring the true strength of the field regardless of which way it is oriented. Therefore, the Trifield Meter can be scanned rapidly across an area without having to stop at each point to search for the orientation that gives a maximum reading. Another section of the meter detects AC electric fields, which can exist independently of AC magnetic field. The third section detects radio/microwave, such as from a leaky microwave oven.

Features:

  • Detects the three type of electromagnetic pollution: AC magnetic fields, AC electric fields, and radio/microwaves.
  • AC magnetic and electric fields are 3-axis, allowing quick accurate readings regardless of meter orientation.
  • Two magnetic ranges cover 0.2-100 milligauss.
  • This is sufficiently sensitive to detect the background field almost anywhere (except for from civilization), while measuring up to very strong AC fields.
  • Electric range covers 5-1000 V/m (or .5-100 kV/m with original version of the Trifield Meter)
  • Radio/microwave covers 10 to 1000 microwatts/square cm which includes the maximum permissible public exposure levels in all countries.
  • Operates about 40 hours on replaceable standard 9V battery, has a low battery indicator.
  • Analog (needle-type) display has very fast response time compared to digital. (However, AlphaLab also manufactures digital meters).

Applications:

  • Measures AC (artificial) magnetic fields rapidly. (Does not measure DC of static fields, such as the Earth Field. Click here for other magnetic meters).
  • Measures AC electric fields rapidly, such as from overhead power lines or improperly grounded equipment. Can locate wiring in walls (using the 100XE version).
  • Meaure major RF/microwave sources such as leakage from microwave ovens, or the field near cell towers. (Note that wireless internet transmitters and individual cell phone are designed to emit very little power and usually are well below international RF exposure threshold. Consequently, the Trifield Meter will only detect these it very near the source.)

ELECTROMAGNETIC POLLUTION
From ELF radiation from power lines
While only a portion of the population of the world  is exposed to microwave radiation, most of the population  is exposed to the 60Hz fields given off by the electrical web that surrounds the population. The 60Hz electric power frequency lies within the band  termed “extremely low frequency” (ELF) , which covers the region zero (DC) to 100Hz.It was formally considered  impossible for an ELF field to have any biological effect;  the wave lengths average about 4800km.
These ELF fields however have some interesting properties.  They may be transmitted over great distances through the ionospheric cavity.
The results of chronic expose to 60 KH electric fields  are many.  Dr Stephen Perry, who worked for the British National Health Service as a family practice physician in a rural area of England reported that he had observed that his patients who lived near electric power lines appeared to have a higher incidence of mental disturbances and suicide.
Dr Nancy Wartheimer, an epidemiologist at the University of Colorado, was examining the possible relationship between the magnetic field from electrical lines (not the high voltage lines we previously discussed but the secondary  lines that are strung everywhere).  She made a startling  discovery; 60Hz magnetic fields with the strengths of only three milligrams (three thousand of a gauss – the Earths magnetic field averages 0.5 gauss) were statistically related to the incidence of childhood cancers.
This field strength is many times smaller, as mentioned above, then the earths normal magnetic field strength, and  it is far below the average strength of 100MG at a distance of approximately 15 metres from the standard transmission  line.Dr David Savitz of the University of North Carolina  repeated the tests, he found that 20% of childhood cancers  appeared to be produced by the exposure to 3 milligauss power frequency magnetic fields.
Also found was that the power frequency fields had  significant behavioural and central nervous system effects, as well as a stimulating effect on cancer cell growth.    The magnetic field about 15metres away from a 345KV transmission line, averages 100 milliguass.    From the above it stands to reason that we cannot get  away from the problem completely, but we do have the choice to minimise our exposure.    One of the first places to look is in your own home, where depending on the layout of the wiring it could be quite normal to find readings of 3 milliguass and above, possibly even from the plumbing.    Avoidance is the best coarse of action.  Beds and chairs can be moved away from the “hot spots” which can be measured with an electromagnetic measuring device such as  the TriField. We believe that exposure can weaken the immune system further, helping to create an environment for disease.
Some examples:
Computers: The average computer will expose you to any thing from 1mg up to 100 millguass, depending on distance and type of computer.
Transformers: The worst being the cheap ones used in clock radios, usually placed close to the head of small children in their bedroom, 30cm away gives 3 mg.average.
Plumbing copper pipes under floor boards: These can radiate at any level depending on many factors, do not place beds over these lines, until checked.
Fuse boxes: Avoid sleeping or being close to the fuse box on out side wall, high levels have been measured.
Street transformers: Avoid living near these, very high radiation levels.
Electric bar heaters: Do not allow children to snuggle up close to these, high radiation levels below one metre distance.
T.V. sets: 60cm will radiate between 2 and 3 mg, but brands vary.
